Chapter Philanthropy and Service

Upcoming Philanthropy Event

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer on Saturday, October 4th, 2025

The Charleston ZTA Alumnae Chapter takes great pride in our service and philanthropy throughout the year. We fulfill the founding principles of our Fraternity by providing support for programs that are educational, philanthropic and leadership-oriented.

Zeta Tau Alpha’s National Philanthropy is Breast Cancer Education and Awareness, and we are proud to serve as the National Survivor/Thriver Ambassadors of Making Strides events. We have volunteered locally at the Making Strides Charleston walks for the last 9 years, and we are excited to be a part of their 10th annual event again this October.

We not only support our national philanthropy, but we also have many community service projects such as:

School Supply Drive

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Pet Helpers

Lowcountry Food Bank

Hope Lodge

Cinderella Project

Domestic Abuse Shelter | South Carolina | My Sister's House

Toys for Tots

Wake Up Carolina

Passing out Pink Ribbons
